Our Best Reads of 2009

This year, at Reading for Sanity, we have read and reviewed over 250 books!
Here we have compiled a post featuring our 20 favorites. It was a difficult task to narrow it down, but you won't go wrong picking up these reads in the coming year.

Graceling - Kristin Cashore

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

Kari picked this one.
Mindy and Heather also enjoyed reading it in 2008.





Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins

The sequel to The Hunger Games
Both Mindy and Kari have this book among their favorite 2009 reads.

Great list! So many I have read, so many I haven't. Looks like I have a lot of make up to do in 2010.
One of my favorite books this year: The Moonflower Vine by Jetta Carleton -- it was a reissue of an out of print book. Loved it.

LOVED Bitter is the New Black. Pee your pants funny!

I want to tack on "Archangel" by Sharon Shinn as one of my best YA (or A for that matter) fiction picks. It's just plain fun.

I keep seeing Still Alice on "best of" lists. I think I need to get it moved to the top of the tbr pile.
